How to Stay Sober

Sober living need not just happen within sober living houses, in the same way that drug and alcohol addicts should lead sober lives after their stay within California drug rehab centers.

There are countless things to do after getting out of drug rehabs. Alcoholics for example can turn away from alcohols by practically avoiding the sight of these harmful beverages before losing control over these items. Be strong willed in your desire to stay away from alcohol before you lose all your family’s funds fro medical insurance and other needs.

Relapse Prevention

Relapse is a common term in many addiction treatment programs. It is when a recovering substance dependent or alcoholic reverts back into the old disintegrating and unnecessary use and consumption of drugs and alcohol. This is particularly detrimental to the health and is a barrier to optimum rehabilitation and recovery of patients in drug rehab clinics. Hence the strong need for relapse prevention.
